As a full-time personal chef, these Thanksgiving recipes have been tested dozens, some hundreds of times, then finalized to perfection based on feedback received from my clients. That doesn't mean, however, that you can't put your own spin on it and turn it into something your clients will request again and again. Enjoy!

  • Roasted Butternut Squash Soup: pureed soup of butternut squash, garlic, onion and spices

  • Sweet Potato Soup: pureed soup of carrot, onion, sweet potato, garlic and ginger

  • Artichoke & Leek Soup: creamy pureed soup of sautéed leek, garlic, artichoke hearts, russet potato, thyme and lemon 

  • Cauliflower Soup: pureed soup of cauliflower, broth, russet potato, garlic, Dijon and Cheddar

  • Cape Cod Chopped Salad: arugula, apple, toasted walnuts, dried cranberries, blue cheese, orange vinaigrette and bacon bits 

  • Caesar Salad: chopped Romaine, Parmesan shavings, croutons and Caesar dressing

  • Sweet Potato, Kale & Quinoa Salad: garlic, onion, and oregano roasted sweet potatoes tossed with quinoa, kale, dried cranberries and red wine vinaigrette

  • Butternut Squash & Romaine Salad: Romaine, toasted walnuts, goat cheese, butternut squash and sherry vinaigrette 

  • Spinach Salad: fresh spinach, diced apple, toasted walnuts, pomegranate seeds, blue cheese and sherry vinaigrette

  • Spinach, Quinoa & Chickpea Salad: fresh spinach, quinoa, grated carrots, dried cranberries, chickpeas, edamame, pumpkin seeds and carrot-miso ginger dressing

  • Classic Mashed Potatoes: Yukon Golds mashed with cream and butter 

  • Mashed Potatoes with Caramelized Onions: Yukon Golds mashed with coconut milk, chives, garlic and caramelized onions 

  • Baked Potato Casserole: casserole of bacon, cheddar, sour cream, chives and russet potato  

  • Rosemary Roasted Potatoes & Peas: green peas with roasted mini potatoes, rosemary and sea salt

  • Mashed Cinnamon Sweet Potatoes: sweet potatoes mashed with grated apple, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger

  • Roasted Cinnamon Sweet Potatoes: sweet potato roasted with honey, olive oil, cinnamon, salt and pepper

  • Traditional Mac & Cheese: traditional mac n cheese (can sub a gluten-free pasta) with Béchamel, Gruyere and white cheddar stirred into white elbow pasta

  • Butternut Squash Mac & Cheese with Peas: butternut squash mashed with Cheddar, Monterey Jack and ricotta then stirred into elbow macaroni (can sub a gluten-free pasta) with petit green peas

  • Brown Rice Pilaf: brown rice, caramelized onions, petit green peas, pecans, pumpkin seed, scallion, carrot and ginger

  • Sweet Potato & Pecan Casserole: baked sweet potatoes with honey, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger with pecan, cinnamon and brown sugar topping

  • Baked Barley & Butternut Squash: (not gluten-free) pearl barley, baby spinach, butternut squash, sautéed onion, white wine and Parmesan

  • Cauliflower Fried Rice: cauliflower, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, onion, carrot, peas and scrambled egg

  • Roasted Root Vegetables: carrot, Brussels sprouts, red potato, parsnip and sweet potatoes roasted with oregano, rosemary, thyme and basil 

  • Petit Green Peas & Roasted Carrots: carrots roasted with olive oil, salt and pepper combined with petit green peas

  • Green Beans with Lemon & Garlic: green beans sautéed with garlic, olive oil, lemon and salt

  • Maple Roasted Butternut Squash: cubed butternut squash baked with maple syrup

  • Roasted Broccoli: broccoli florets roasted with olive oil, sea salt and black pepper 

  • Herb Roasted Brussels Sprouts: Brussels sprouts roasted with oregano, rosemary, thyme and basil

  • Sesame Broccoli: broccoli florets sautéed with sesame oil, soy sauce and toasted sesame seeds

  • Fresh Cranberry Relish: chunky relish of cranberries, Grand Marnier and orange zest

  • Bread Stuffing: casserole of crusty Italian bread (can sub cornbread for gluten-free), onion, celery, carrot, fresh herbs, raisins, walnuts and pecans

  • Classic Cornbread (best eaten same day): cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, eggs, buttermilk, oil

  • Savory Mushroom Gravy: wild mushrooms, garlic, onion, sage and thyme
  • Chicken Gravy: chicken stock, cornstarch, salt and pepper gravy
