Will I need to buy a bunch of equipment for my Personal Chef business?

When going to meal prep cook sessions at client homes, you'll definitely need to bring a sharp chef's knife. You will likely find most of the needed basic kitchenware in client homes, but often finding a sharp knife is difficult. At minimum, always bring your own knife, perhaps even a selection of knives. When first starting as a personal chef in 2012, I would bring one or two boxes of equipment to every cook session including my favorite pans, utensils and even a food processor. After a while, I realized that bringing my entire kitchen to each appointment was highly unnecessary and created more work for myself than needed.
