Will I need to buy a bunch of equipment for my Personal Chef business?

When going to meal prep cook sessions at client homes, you'll definitely need to bring a sharp chef's knife. You will likely find most of the needed basic kitchenware in client homes, but often finding a sharp knife is difficult. At minimum, always bring your own knife, perhaps even a selection of knives. When first starting as a personal chef in 2012, I would bring one or two boxes of equipment to every cook session including my favorite pans, utensils and even a food processor. After a while, I realized that bringing my entire kitchen to each appointment was highly unnecessary and created more work for myself than needed. As always, because it's your personal chef business, you get to run it how you envision it. You can choose to bring only sharp knives or choose to bring a large equipment box.
